This donation trumps Warren Buffett’s US $ 3.17 billion donation made in July 2017. Bill Gates may not wear a batman jacket but he has made a gain of US $ 6.1 billion in 2017 alone to become the richest American in 2017.

From the year 2000 alone until 2017 Mr. Buffett has given away US $ 46 billion which makes him the most charitable person in America. He is the second richest man in the United States valued at US $ 74.9 billion by Forbes but he is still the person who has made the most charitable donations. He is good friends with Bill Gates. In comparison Bill Gates the younger knight out of the two philanthropists has donated a total of US $ 35 billion since 1994. This is the reason why the number one spot goes to Warren Buffett with $ 46 billion starting count of the charitable donations from the year 2000.
